What I need from you:
1. A high-res, crisp close-up photo of your pet taken in good light.
A good rule of thumb is to make sure you can see the details and highlights in the eyes and be able to see some individual hairs. A great photo translates into a great pet sketch!
2. Your pet's name
Please send me your pet’s name if you would like it included.
3. Artwork size preference
The default size is A4 (210 x 297mm) portrait orientation, although a square of 210x210mm looks great too.
The choice is yours! If you have the frame with a different ratio simply send me the dimensions.
4. Payment
Full payment is to be made with proof of payment sent to amy@studioslatem.com before work on the pet sketch begins. Payment can be made via bank transfer or through Stripe (credit card). Payment details are provided in the invoice after initial correspondence.

How are the sketches created?
I draw in Photoshop on a Wacom drawing tablet with a pencil brush preset. Using your photo reference as the starting point to get proportions and tones, then I build the sketch up layer by layer adding more detail as I go along. The finishing touches include some white highlights, writing the name and signing the artwork.
What do you receive in the end?
You will receive an email with the print-ready artwork provided as 300ppi RGB PDF and JPEG files as well as an attached guide for printing.
