WHat to expect

The step-by-step branding process

  • The first step to any project is research!

    Once we are both happy to go ahead working together after having the 15 min discovery Zoom call, you'll receive a Welcome Kit with all the nitty gritties along with an invoice for the 50% deposit and a contract to lock in your project.

    We'll then start to delve into your business and goals, what makes you special, your target audience, the industry and your competitors. This is done by answering the Brand Discovery Workbook provided, which you fill in and return before the strategy call.

    You share a Pinterest mood board of 10-20 images of your vision for your brand so I can get an idea of your style taste.

    We set up the strategy call via Zoom to go over and discuss the insights together as well as your vision, and confirm the project deliverables.

  • A. CONCEPT CREATION

    Based on the info gathered during the Discovery Stage, I'll create two mood boards with curated examples for two separate art directions to take the project forward in. Creative ideas and sketches start to be developed once you choose between the two directions.

    B. DESIGN OF LOGO & BRAND ASSETS

    This is the fun creative stage of bringing the brand to life - seeing everything evolve and take shape! First we nail the logo and style direction, then the branding is applied in stages across all the different touch points that make up your new brand. Designs are presented with two different concepts to choose between and are presented in PDF presentations, aided with mock-ups for you to envision your brand in real-life situations.

    C. REVISIONS & APPROVAL

    Once your design selections have been made, we work together to fine-tune, finalise and sign off on all the artwork. A set number of revisions are included in your package, but additional changes can be made upon request and billed per hour (see end of document). You files will be prepared for export and final handover. The final payment invoice will be sent and is due before the next step.

  • All your final branding files are packaged up neatly and handed over to you via Dropbox for download.

    You are walked through your new files and how to use them (either via a recorded video or live call), so you can ask any questions and feel confident and prepared to launch your new brand into the world!
