Odds & Ends Retainer

5hrs/month
  • Businesses who:

    • Often need tweaks made to text or photos in existing designs.

    • Need additional branded templates created in Canva for easy populating yourself.

    • Need the odd designs created for monthly content like social media, blog graphics, product-of-the-month website banners etc.

    • Total of 5 hours per calendar month.

    • Option to purchase additional hours* at the retainer value rate of $135/hr (+GST).
      *Subject to availability

  • AUD $680 (+GST) per month for 5 hours.

    • Minimum 2-month commitment, after which you can opt out by giving 2 week’s notice before the end of the current month.

Design-a-Dozen Retainer

12hrs/month
  • Businesses who:

    • Have a new brand or have just finished with a brand refresh and need help rolling out or updating the new branding elements across all the various touch points.

    • Need multiple changes made to information or photos in existing designs.

    • Need more complex/long-form designs created e.g. PowerPoint presentations, sales documents, menus etc.

    • Need regular social media posts designed (based on content and copy supplied by client).

    • Total of 12 hours per calendar month.

    • Option to purchase additional hours* at the retainer value rate of $120/hr (+GST).
      *Subject to availability

  • AUD $1,440 (+GST) per month for 12 hours.

    • Save $15 per hour compared to the Odds & Ends Retainer rate

    • Minimum 3-month commitment, after which you can opt out by giving 2 week’s notice before the end of the current month.

How it works

The retainer process

  • Retainers commence on the first business day of each calendar month.

  • Detailed written briefs (along with all necessary copy, photos and references) need to be provided to me outlining artwork size, any deadlines, formats etc. at least 72 hours in advance for smaller jobs (that would take up to 3 hours to complete), and at least 1 week in advance for larger jobs (that would take more than 3 hours complete).

  • I’ll confirm the deliverables, the estimated time (hours) it’ll take, and the expected delivery timeline.

  • The project will be scheduled, created and sent over to you for review once completed.

  • You may send multiple briefs throughout the month, or all together at the beginning of the month. We can also schedule a monthly Zoom briefing meeting to discuss goals and projects for the month.

  • You’ll be notified once your time package has been depleted, after which you can either wait for the new month’s hours to begin, or simply purchase additional hours at your package’s rate (subject to availability).

  • Invoices for the upcoming month are sent out on the 25th of each month, along with any additional hours used over the current month. Invoices need to be paid before we can proceed with the new month’s hours.

  • The retainer packages can not be used for any brand identity creation or complex illustration work. These are separate services and will need to be quoted separately.

  • Unused hours cannot be accumulated or carried over to the next month. Each month resets with your retainer’s set hours available for use.

  • Any communication, be it through emails, video calls, or other means, is subtracted from the total retainer hours.
